Wardrobe Fitouts & Cubboards, Pantry etc

There are several suppliers of similar items when you build. For example; Electrical, Data, Alarm & TV/Phone prewire were done by 3 different teams on our build at 4 different times.  Then, I assume, they will all come back at similar but different times to complete their fitoff.

Anyway on to this post. Cabinets and shelving is similar to electrical. Kitchen and other cabinets are installed by one team, Benches by another, then Crystal Robes install the Linen and other cupboard shelves. I don't really understand why it's not just the one supplier and team but it isn't.  During our tender and preparation prior to building we went back and forth with yes and no on adding wardrobe fitouts or not. They were added and removed at least 3 times while we were getting the price and specs right. They ended up with getting given the OK to all additional wardrobes. It was a fairly straight forward process when we selected them in the first place with the sales rep guiding us through the process. We ended up choosing Drawers, Shelves and Hanging rails to all wardrobes at a cost of just under $5000. We didn't end up doing the cloak room fitout because standard was OK and left the colour standard white to avoid several thousand dollars additional cost for colour laminate. It was good to see the design on paper but much better now that we can see it in person. We can get a feel for how much extra organized storage space in each wardrobe we have. There is plenty of space in the bedrooms but with the additional of built in drawers, shelves and hanging rods in the wardrobe everything will have a place to go.

As usual see below for photos. We got excited - the photos are under torch light. :-)

Yeah, I'm not sure what happened below either. I'll work it out with the SS at the next site meeting.
