First House Clean & Caulking

A quick post mainly to keep track of timeline for myself and those interested in when things are likely to be done..

Our house had it's first clean ready to caulking.

Render is... Nearly done!

Our brickwork has been a lengthy process so it was good to see the render applied to the bricks. The renderers came by a few weeks ago and did the first coat of render getting it ready for the final colour coating.

Scaffold is down!

Yeah, Nah. Not much to say here. Our scaffolding came down today. 1 Day to disassemble all of the scaffold and pack it for collection. Not bad going I reckon. It is fast approaching completion.

Plumbing Fitoff done!

The fit off plumbers have returned to complete the fit off of taps and basins. Over the last week or so there have been a couple of visits to complete the various plumbing tasks. They still haven't completed the taps in the master ensuite because there was an alignment issue that was fixed. All of the toilets, basins, sinks and external taps have been plumbed and are now operational.

Mirrors

So, yeah the mirrors got installed.

Our choice of mirror was essentially standard affair.

For those of you who are interested these mirrors are what you get as standard with a Prestige build. They are typically installed onto plaster but we upgraded to full height wall tiles in the master ensuite.

Electrical Fitoff

The electricians have been back to start the fitoff of electrical hardware. So far they have prepared all of the light switches, power points and light fittings. We made quite a lot of changes here and I need to check and double check that everything is how it's supposed to be.
