Painting is underway

Yes, that's correct. Brick laying hasn't finished but they have started the painting in our house. I takes a day or 2 to go through the house before the first coat of paint is applied. The fix various bumps and knocks on the walls. At the same time there are people from the plastering back at the house fixing several areas that hadn't been completed and a couple more where they had to open it back up to get to something.
Our Theatre also had regular plaster installed instead of sound check so they had to remove and redo that too. After the walls are deemed fit for paint they spend the next day masking and covering everything they don't want painted followed by a day of spraying. That's as far as they have got on our house. The tillers arrived a bit early due to a mix up so the painter was sent off to finish another couple of houses while tiles and other bits were done on ours.

I requested a meeting with our painter prior to paint starting. As with all the tradies so far he is a great bloke and appears to care about the finished result. At the same time I was able to arrange for him to complete some additional feature walls for us.

The display home we are copying the colour theme of uses 2 main colours for walls through out the house then wall paper as colour features. We have decided to replicate similar using feature effects paints instead of wall paper.

Our paint colour selection is:

Main Colours

Ceiling: Ceiling White
Walls: Astor White
Walls Second Colour (theatre and upper level): White Pepper
Skirts and Archs: Astor White Gloss
The second wall colour is used on 2 of 4 walls in the rooms to create warmth and contrast.

Feature Walls Colours

Theatre (2 walls only): Umbertone
Study (single wall):  Umbertone
Powder Room: Neutral Intrigue Metallic Effect
Lounge/Dining (window wall only): Steel Shimmer Metallic Effect
Master Bedroom (Bed/WIR Wall): Steel Shimmer Metallic Effect
Master Ensuite WC (single wall): Steel Shimmer Metallic Effect

I don't have any photos of the colours because the painting isn't finished yet but here are a few of the painting so far.
